Page seventeen of the second red Ontario scrapbook contains a program from a First World War patriotic concert, at which Montgomery gave a reading, and a leaflet concerning the third annual meeting of the Lindsay Presbyterial Women's Missionary Society. There is also a photograph of the Presbyterian church in Zephyr, which was part of Ewan's charge. Notice especially Montgomery's photograph of the newly-trained 116th Battalion marching uphill in Leaskdale.
