Page fifty-five of the first red Ontario scrapbook contains postcards and photographs from Montgomery's honeymoon trip in Scotland. On August 2, 1911 the newlyweds started toward Inverness and Culloden Moor, but would stop en route in Kirriemuir to visit sites related to author J. M. Barrie. Montgomery has pasted two of her own photographs and two souvenir postcards of "The Den" onto this page, as well as a postcard of the residence of J. M. Barrie and one of the Palace Hotel in Aberdeen.
