Narrative This piece of yellow fabric is the tab from Montgomery's garter which was lost and then found in her trunk. The whereabouts of the garter and the reason for its disappearance were the source of many jokes in the unpublished diary co-written by Montgomery and Nora Lefurgey in 1903.
