Description White greeting card with illustrations of forget-me-nots and daisies; inside reveals an inscription and two souvenirs.
Narrative This card is a souvenir of the antics of friends L. M. Montgomery and Nora Lefurgey on February 13, 1903. The inside of the card reveals two souvenirs collected at a party: a green velvet flower and a piece from a whip. These items were the result of a competition between Maud and Nora to see who could "swipe" the most during the evening. The significance of the two souvenirs is explained in the unpublished comic diary, co-written by Maud and Nora while the latter boarded at the Macneill home for six months in 1903.
