Object Name card
Object Type handwritten
Artist/Maker Name Montgomery, L. M.
Description White card with handwritten inscriptions by L. M. Montgomery.
Narrative This card is one of many secrets in Montgomery's scrapbooks. Is the minister referred to Ewan Macdonald or someone else? The date given is January 1903, and Ewan, according to Montgomery's accounts, arrived in Cavendish later than this. It could refer to any number of other ministers, including Edwin Simpson and Edwin Smith. The journals do not always identify when she first meets someone or has later encounters with them.
