Narrative This souvenir photograph of Mount Edith Cavell in Jasper National Park was probably pasted into this early scrapbook after Montgomery's 1930 trip to Saskatchewan. The Jasper Forest Reserve was created in 1907, preserving the area including Mount Edith Cavell, but the park did not become a national park until The National Parks Act was passed in 1930.
