Description Black and white sepia toned souvenir photograph depicting hills and a railway.
Narrative This souvenir photograph of Hell's Gate on the Thompson River was probably pasted into the PEI scrapbook after Montgomery's 1930 visit to Saskatchewan, because it is the same vintage as the photograph of Mount Edith Cavell also on this page. By this time, the early railway lines, Grand Trunk Pacific and Canadian Northern, had merged into the Canadian National Railway.
