Description Newspaper clipping of a young woman.
Narrative The "Scotch beauty" depicted here is the niece of the Earl of Eglinton, Adelaide Montgomerie. All her life Montgomery prided herself as had her father and presumably her grandfather -- of the (likely) connection between the Earls of Eglinton and the Montgomery family on the Island. Montgomery's father had named his house in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan "Eglinton Villa" in honour of the desired connection. The photograph here -- in light of her Scottish trip and her own wedding -- is most interesting.
